I have had one crappy week. However by 1 persons act of kindness it put a big smile and skip back into my step. I had to work the weekend so I did not get to fish, have had the flu and allergies since last Friday. I think I have been thru 2 bottles of Nyquil and box of allergy meds. My plants I think are dead from the cold weather, eventhough I cover them up ever night. Today, Wednesday I went to lunch at Wendy's on Mt. View and Crossings road. I went thru the drive thru and noticed a Reddish SUV in front of me and the plate from Rutherford County. I have a habit of looking around and really taking notice of my environment. It also helped the girl driving was pretty cute. Anyhow I ordered my lunch, just a bacon cheeseburger and fries for a whopping $2.16. I got to the window to pay and the gentleman told me the lady in the Red SUV paid for my lunch. I was astonished and didn't know exactly what to say. I pulled ahead to get my lunch and she drove away, all I could do was smile and wave. I tried to catch up to her and thank her but as traffic is I got caught up in it and did not see her at the intersection. So I figured I would blog about it and say "THANKS" you put a smile on my face and reminded me there are nice people in the world. A random act of kindness goes a long way, even at $2.16 which I think was priceless. I know it is not fishing related but so far 2007 has been kinda crappy to me so I will take a smile at this point. Ya it was a pretty nice thing to do. I fished 1st of April Weekend series and finished 26th or so. I was not happy about it. I only had 1 fish and lost 2 very nice fish. I just could not get on track. I head to Center Hill May 12th. I am 10th in standings and only 2 pts out of the cut for Nationals. We will see!
